Purpose of the Job

1. The purpose of the position is to perform all aspects of the injection molding operations including basic troubleshooting & problem solving, Changeovers of Mould & downtime tracking

2. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for Size change, maintaining stocks based on demand, and following the predetermined quality specifications.

3. The following reports are prepared by the position holder: -Hourly quality checklist, Raw material Traceability, hourly production counter, Line stoppage report, Raw material Consumption, downtime record sheet, Material data, GMP, and Cleaning checks.

Key Accountabilities :

• Follow Standard operating procedures in work and adhere to safe work practices, Operating, Material, and processing of Plastic Products with acceptable limits as per Machine design
• Operate/monitor assigned machines during operation to ensure quality products and minimal unplanned stops and to perform preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure proper machine startup and operation to achieve high machine efficiency.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels as per SOP to attain cost-effective production.
• Prepare production reports with high accuracy and highlight day-to-day machine/material/operational issues on time to the supervisor to plan preventive and planned maintenance.
