Location: South Africa – Western Cape, Cape Town – North.

Sallery: 1200 USD

Our client, a leading company in the Plastics industry is looking for an Injection Moulding Production Engineer to join their team based in Parow Industria, Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Plastic injection moulding (crates).
• Responsible for mould changes and axillary equipment.
• Knowledge of the injection moulding process.
• Knowledge of the properties of different types of materials.
• Cleans mould after each production run.
• Optimise machine setting process.
• Minimise scrap output with a high output target in Quality Control.

Requirements

The candidate should have a certificate for “crane and slings” and a certificate for “machine setting” preferably within the plastics industry.

Minimum 3 years of experience in machine setting, basic mould maintenance and running chillers.

The machine has a 1000-ton clamping force.

Preferred experience with Negri Bossi.

Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Machine Setter in the Plastics industry.

Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team.

Strong attention to detail.

Good communication skills.
